Heavenly Bars
Think delicate scotcheroo, with a light, fluffy, sugary layer under the chocolate. Mmmmm..., heavenly.
ingredients
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 4 cups Rice Krispies
- 1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding (reserve the rest of the small box)
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup milk

Melt together the peanut butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Add the Rice Krispies and 1/4 cup vanilla pudding. Press into 2 9x13 pans.

Mix powdered sugar and the rest of the pudding (the small box), butter and milk until smooth. Spread over bottom layer. Cool in the refrigerator.

Melt 12 oz. chocolate chips and 6 tbsp. butter. Cool slightly. Spread over pudding layer.

Freezes well, so save one of the pans for later.
