Blueberry / Apple Crisp Nancy and Emily
ingredients
- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 lb. or 3 cups Granny Smith Apples (peeled, cored and cut into 1/3 thick slices
- 3/ 4 cup sugar
- 6 T. orange juice
- 3 T. cornstarch
- Topping:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter

Pre-heat oven 375 degrees.

Combine all ingredients in large bowl.

Toss gently.

Put in 8 X 8 glass baking dish.

Place on baking sheet.

Bake until fruit begins to soften and mixture bubbles about 45 minutes

Topping:

Mix flour and sugar

Add butter.

Mix into coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle over filling.

Return to oven and bake about 35 min.

Cool slightly
