ingredients
- Bring to a boil:
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/ 2 cup oil
- 1 cup water
- Pour over and mix into:
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/ 4 cup cocoa
- Add:
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/ 2 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/ 2 tsp. soda dissolved in milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Frosting:
- melt 1 stick butter
- 1/ 3 cup buttermilk
- Pour and beat:
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1/ 4 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Frost while cake is hot
