Frosted Banana Cake

ingredients

Cake

3 1/2 cups white or whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup mashed bananas
2/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tsp vanilla

Frosting

1 package cream cheese, softened
4 cups icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla

directions

Cake

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Add milk, bananas, melted butter, lemon juice and vanilla. Stir until smooth. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean. Cool.

Frosting

In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Beat until smooth. Frost cake once cooled.
