Three Bean Three Alarm Chili

This three bean chili is not for the weak of heart. It’s spicy enough to knock you off your feet, but is packed full of fantastic flavor.
ingredients
- 4-6 Dried Pasilla Chili Peppers
- 3 TBS Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, diced
- 2 Jalapenos, diced
- 6 Cloves of Garlic, minced
- 1 Large Red Onion, diced
- 1 18oz Can of Stewed Tomatoes
- 3 Cups of Vegetable Broth
- 2 TSP Granulated Garlic
- 4 TSP Chili Powder
- 1 TSP Paprika
- 3 TBS Cumin Seeds, whole
- Kosher Salt/ Black Pepper
- 1 12oz. Can Pinto Beans (rinsed)
- 1 12 oz. Can Black Beans (rinsed)
- 1 14oz. Can Kidney Beans (rinsed)
- Cilantro (Garnish)
- Optional:
- Chicken broth may be substituted for vegetable broth
- Sugar may be added to balance heat of chili powder.
