Mama Loomis Chicken Soup
ingredients
- 1 whole chicken
- 1 Onion,cut into 6 parts
- 4 sticks of Celery
- 1 pkg Baby Carrots
- 1 pkg frozen cooked squash
- 1 pkg wide egg noodles

Take the parts out of the cavity and throw away

Rinse the chicken well, making sure you run water through the cavity.

Put chicken in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring it to a boil. Skim off the white foam that rises to the top.

Put the onion, celery, carrots and squash into the pot with the chicken, turn down the heat to simmer and cook for at least an hour or two.

Take chicken out. Let cool. Take meat off the bones and put back into the soup.

Cook wide egg noodles according to directions, drain and put in the pot with chicken and soup. Let sit together for 10 – 15 minutes.
