Mushroom Pate
Mushroom Pate is easy to make and keeps for five days, well sealed, in the refrigerator.
ingredients
- 2 T butter
- 1 cup of almonds
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/2 cup shopped onions
- 3/4 lbs fresh mushrooms
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- salt (prefer sea salt) to taste
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons dry vermouth
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind (optional)
- fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
