Crispex Mix (original recipe)

Makes 9 cups

This is the crispix recipe of party mix. It is a holiday favorite in our family, mom’s always make it best:) Cheerios taste good in here too! I always mix the cereals (corn, rice, wheat).

ingredients

6 cups cereal
1 cup salted mixed nuts
1 cup pretzels
3 T. butter
1 tsp. all seasoned salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

directions

Melt butter in 13x9 pan in oven at 250 degrees. Remove from oven. Stir in seasoned salt, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. Add Crispix cereal, pretzels and nuts, stirring until coated. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in air tight container
