ingredients

  • 2 Large Onions, diced
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Cup Oil
  • 1 28 Oz.Can Whole Tomatoes
  • 1 28 Oz. Can Tomato Puree
  • 4 Large Cans Tomato Paste
  • 4 Large Cans Water
  • 2 tsp each, Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tsp. Basil
  • 2 tsp. Parsley
  • 2 Lbs. Ground Round, browned
  • 2 Lbs. Italian Sausage, browned

    1. Brown onions and garlic in oil

  • 2

    2. Add whole tomatoes and puree, piercing tomatoes with wooden spoon while cooking

  • 3

    3. Add paste and water

  • 4

    4. Stir to combine ingredients

  • 5

    5. Cook on medium low until sauce starts to thicken

  • 6

    6. Add browned meats and finished cooking until desired thickness

  • 7

    7. Serve over penne or spaghetti
