This is an easy and healthy recipe for you to try. Humus is a middle eastern dish or an appetizer, but it is becoming so popular in the world that you’ll find it anywhere now. However, nothing beats a good homemade humus. This was the only dish I could make when I got married. It is that simple! Enjoy!

ingredients

  • 1 can Garbanzo beans or chick peas
  • 1/4 Cup Tahini Paste
  • 1 clove garlic (more or less to taste)
  • 1 tsp. Ground Cumin Powder (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley, Olive oil & paprika for garnishing

directions

    Drain the liquid from the can.

  • 2

    Blend together all the first 6 ingredients to a smooth paste.

  • 3

    Add water little by little if too thick.

  • 4

    Garnish with Parsley, a little olive oil, paprika & serve with pita bread.
