Country Green Beans
ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked ham
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

In a Large Sauce pan melt butter. Add onions and garlic and saute until the onions become translucent. Stir frequently so onions don’t brown.

Add the rest of the ingredients and cover. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until green beans are cooked to you liking.
