  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 7/8 cup oil
  • 1 to 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 cup white raisins
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

    Mix together eggs, sugar, vanilla & oil with wire whisk. Add chopped nuts & raisins. Stir in with wooden spoon flour sifted with baking powder & salt.

    In large pan make 3 strips with spoon.

    Bake 25-30 minutes in 350° oven. Slice & bake cut side down 8-10 minutes.

    No sugar needed with raisins.
