ingredients

  • 5 pounds pork loin
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper
  • 3/4 cup of dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

directions

Preheat oven to 350. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper; insert meat thermometer to center of meat. Bake in shallow roasting pan for 2 1/2 hours, or until thermometer reads 175. Remove all fat from drippings in pan. Combine remaining ingredients as a glaze; spread all of it over pork. Roast pork about 1/2 hour or to 185 on thermometer, basting it occasionally with glaze from bottom of pan. Remove pork to heated platter. Remove fat from drippings; add 1/4 cup water to drippings, bring to boil. Serve with pork.

    3/4 cup soy sauce

    1/2 cup lemon juice

    1/4 cup mustard

    1/4 cup Worcestershire

    1/4 cup onion, chopped

  • 8

    1-2 teaspoons craked pepper

  • 9

    2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 10

    Mix and tore in refrigerator until ready to use. Marinade for chicken, pork or beef.

    Note: Marinade may be reused.
