ingredients

  • 2 strips bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 medium onion finely chopped
  • 1 lb. burssels spouts, thinly sliced
  • 1/8 t. salt
  • 1/8 t. fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 c. coarsly chopped toasted pecans
  • 1 lb. sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced into thin rounds
  • 1/4 c. maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 T. unsalted butter, melted
