Quiche LorraineCarole Bradford
Good brunch recipe.

- 1 9" unbaked pie shell, well chilled
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 8 - 10 slices bacon, fry crisp, cubed
- 4 eggs
- 2 C heavy cream
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- Pinch: nutmeg, sugar, cayenne pepper
- 1 C grated Swiss cheese
Rub butter on surface of unbaked pie shell.
Combine: eggs, cream, salt and spices with egg beater, just long enough to mix thoroughly.
Sprinkle pie shell with bacon and cheese; pour in cream/egg mixture.
Bake 425° for 15 min. Reduce heat to 300° and bake 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
