CORNBREAD DRESSING
THIS DRESSING IS THE BEST! DON’T WAIT UNTIL THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS TO SERVE IT TO YOUR FAMILY OR GUESTS.
ingredients
- 1 lb bulk hot sausage
- 1/2 container Savoie Dressing mix
- 2 1/2 cups crumbled cornbread (NOT Jiffy cornbread - too sweet)
- 2 1/2 cups herb seasoned stuffing mix (like Stouffer’s)
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- Tony Chachere’s to taste (lightly because Savoie’s is seasoned well)
directions
Brown sausage and add Savoie’s mixing and heating through. Sautè onion and celery in butter. Stir in meats and stuffing mix. Add broth and mix thoroughly. Bake in uncovered casserole dish for 30-35 minutes at 350°.

THIS DRESSING WILL BE VERY MOIST BEFORE COOKING, SO BE SURE TO COOK UNCOVERED TO MAKE IT FLUFF UP AND BE JUICY.
