Barbequed Spareribs
Finger-lickin’ good
ingredients
- 1 can tinned plums, pittted
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- 4-5 lbs. pork spareribs
- one onion studded with cloves
directions

Boil large pot of water. Add spareribs and onion and simmer for 1 hour.

Process sauce ingredients in food processor until smooth and set aside.

When ribs are done, remove from water, drain and place in large container. Pour sauce over meat and cover tightly.

Refrigerate overnight.

Bring meat to room temperature before cooking.

To barbeque, cook for 5-10 minutes per side, basting frequently.
