ORANGE BEEF STIR FRY

ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 lb. shoulder steak cut in strips
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce with herbs
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1

    In a large frying pan, heat oil.

  • 2

    Add beef and stir fry until cooked through.

  • 3

    Reduce heat to medium and cook for 15 minutes.

  • 4

    Add remaining oil and veggies.

  • 5

    Cook until tender crisp.

  • 6

    Mix sauce, o.j., soy sauce, vinegar and garlic to pan.

    Heat through stirring occasionally.

  • 8

    Return beef to frying pan, toss and cook through an additional 15 minutes.

  • 9

    Serve over brown rice or spaghettini.
