Chicken Adobo (Guam)
The best tasting chicken dish you’ll ever eat. You’ll come back for more.
ingredients
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 8 Skinless, boneless chicken breasts or boneless pork chops
- 3 onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 5 small baby potatoes, cut into halves
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 cup water

In mixing bowl, add soy sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Let soak for 20 minutes.

In skillet, brown chicken. Add sauce mixture to chicken. Add potatoes.

In small bowo, add 1/4 cup water and flour, mix. Add to chicken, whisk until sauce thickens. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
