- 1 large sweet onions -- peeled and chopped
- 3 ounces carrot -- peeled and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley -- chopped
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 14 ounces beef and onion stock/soup
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- Topping
- 2 ounces cheddar cheese -- coursely grated
- 2 medium leeks, cleaned -- 1/2 inch dice
- 2 pounds potatoes
- 2 ounces butter
