Pork Fried Rice
Traditional rice dish
ingredients
- 2 Cups Cooked Rice
- 1 Small Onion Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Green Peas
- 1/2 Cup Cooked Pork
- 2 Beaten Eggs
- Soy Sauce
- 2-4 Tablespoons Oil
directions
Cook rice according to directions and set aside when finished. Chop onion, set aside. Cut cooked pork into thin small strips or cubes, set aside. In wok or frying pan heat 2 TB of oil until hot. Stir in chopped onion and saute 3 mintues. Add peas and saute for 3 minutes. Add pork and stir together. Add cooked rice and remaining oil stiring to coat and cook through. Sprinkle with soy sauce 1 tablespoon. Move rice to side and in the pan scramble eggs until cooked through. Stir cooked eggs through out rice to distribute. Serve and eat
notes
I use leftover rice from take out and also any meat left over. Chicken is great.
