Raisin Sauce
This recipe was given to me by Jeanie Bartee, and it was given to her by a wonderful cook and restaurant owner, Mattie Rosser.
ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teas. dry mustard
- 2 Tables. corn starch
- 2 Tables. vinegar
- 2 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teas. grated lemon peel
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
directions

Mix sugar, mustard and corn starch.

Slowly add the vinegar, lemon juice, peel,water and raisins.

Cook over low heat stirring constantly until thick.

Makes 2 cups

Serve with ham or pork roast.
