Basil Pesto
ingredients
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 3/4 cup walnuts, lightly toasted
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
directions

1. In a small skillet, toast walnuts over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

2. Measure all ingredients, except for the Parmesan cheese, into food processor.

3. Pulse until well blended. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.

Makes 1 1/2 cups
