Overnight French Toast
ingredients
- 16 slices bread cut into 1" cubes
- 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 12 eggs
- 2 c. (pint) whipping cream (heavy)
- 1/2 c. real Vermont maple syrup

Grease 13x9x2 pan, Cube bread, place in dish; set aside. Beat cream cheese till smooth, add eggs, whipping cream and syrup. Beat until well blended. Pour over bread and refrigerate covered overnight.

Remove in AM and let set for 30 minutes at room temp. Preheat oven to 375° and bake uncovered for 25 min. then cover with foil and bake an additional 15-25 min more until set in center. Serve with warm maple syrup

At Christmas I make this using a store bought Panettone, it's delicious!
