ingredients

  • 1 lb Rotini pasta, cooked & drained
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/2 cup White Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 Asiago cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ham, finely chopped

    Pre-heat oven to 350° F. Put cooked pasta in a large bowl and set aside.

    In a medium sauce pan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the flour, stirring constantly. Cook until the flour is fully incorporated. Add the milk and simmer, stirring often. Add the bay leaves, worcestershire, and spices except the chili powder then mix well. Add all the cheeses and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the cheese has melted.

    Stir in the ham and the pour the mixture over the pasta. Toss the pasta to thoroughly coat it. Pour mixture into a large buttered baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with chili powder.

    Bake for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Enjoy!
