Mom's Spaghetti

ingredients
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 lbs italian sausage (2 pkgs)
- 2 lbs Mushrooms, sliced (2 pkgs)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 Tbsp Butter
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 c Port
- 3 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 5 cubes beef bouillon, in 1.5 hot water
- 2 Tbsp Parsley
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 Tbsp basil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 lb Spaghetti
- 1 lb Rigatoni or Penne

In a large skillet, saute the hamburger and sausage until browned and mixed. Drain the fat.

In a different large skillet, melt butter, add mushrooms, onion, garlic. When mushrooms are softened, add port and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a crock pot, add rest of ingredients. When meat is browned and mushrooms are finished, add to sauce. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours.

Boil pasta according to directions. Mix sauce with pasta and serve.
