Vietnames Rice Paper Rolls with dipping sauce
It makes a very intricate and fancy looking h’orderves...
ingredients
- Rice paper wrappers 6
- Match stick carrots 1/2 cup
- finely chopped cucumber 1/2 cup
- bean sprouts 1/2 cup
- finely chopped ham (cooked) 1/2 cup(you can substitute ham with canned salmon or tuna)
- Mint leaves finely chopped 1/4 cup
- For the dipping sauce:
- 3 tbs hoisin sauce
- 2 to 3 green chilis chopped
- 2 tbs of natural peanut butter
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbs soya sauce
- 1 tbs rice vinegar
- Blend all the ingredients in a food processor. Chill
directions
Soak rice paper wrappers one at a time in warm water for 30 seconds and then lay each one on a clean damp tea towel. Add the above listed ingredients in any order you prefer. Fold in the ends of the wrapper first and then roll it until it forms into small packets or bundles. Chill and serve with the dipping sauce.
