GRANNY'S GOWER POINT GRANOLA

ingredients
- 5 CUPS OATS (NOT INSTANT)
- 1 CUP POWDERED MILK
- 1 CUP SESAME SEEDS
- 1 CUP SUNFLOWER SEEDS (SHELLED)
- 1 CUP ANY KIND OF CHOPPED NUTS
- 1 CUP WHEAT GERM
- 1 CUP VEGETABLE OIL
- 1 CUP HONEY
- ANY OF THESE YOU MIGHT LIKE TO ADD:
- 1 CUP RAISINS OR CRAISINS OR DATES
- 1 CUP COCONUT
- 1 CUP SOY BEANS (ALREADY TOASTED)
- CURRANTS

HEAT HONEY AND OIL IN A SMALL SAUCEPAN UNTIL WARM AND BLENDED.

MIX TOGETHER ALL DRY INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE BOWL.

STIR IN THE OIL/HONEY MIXTURE.

PLACE ON A FEW LARGE RIMMED COOKIE SHEET IN SINGLE LAYER.

COOK AT 300° FOR 1/2-3/4 HOUR.

STIR OCCASIONALLY, UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWN.
