Lydia's French Toast

- 10-15 minutes
There are many ways to make french toast; this is just my favorite way.
ingredients
- 2-3 slices bread
- 1 egg
- Splash of milk (1-2 tablespoons)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Dash cinnamon or nutmeg
- Butter

Mix the egg, sugar and seasoning in a container.

heat skillet with butter on medium-high heat.

Dip 1 slice of bread in egg mixture; cover both sides and place in skillet.

Sprinkle with a little sugar.

Turn over after a minute or two of cooking.

You may need to add a little more butter in between each slice of bread.

Serve with warm maple syrup and/or powdered sugar.
notes
Try using a little vanilla extract, half and half, nutmeg and/or french bread.
