This is a indian Bread.tastes so good

ingredients

  • 1.Maida(all purpose flour)- 2 cup
  • 2.Sooji -1/2 cup
  • 3.Sugar- 1tblspn
  • 4.Salt-1 tsp
  • 5.Baking Powder- 1 tsp
  • 6.Milk- 1 cup
  • 7.Water- as required
  • 8.Oil-2 tblspn
  • 9.Oil- for deep frying

    1.Take a large bowl

    2.Add maida,sooji,salt,sugar,Baking Powder and mix together.

    3.Then add milk slowly and try to make in to a dough.

    4.If required add water.

    5.Make in to a soft dough.

    6.Spread oil and cover with a damp cloth for 3-4 hours

    7.After 4 hours take the dough and make small balls and roll in to a chappati.

    8.Dont make it so thin and not too thick.

    9.It should be medium size.

    10.Heat the oil and drop the battura in to the oil.

    11.pour the oil over the top slowly to make it puff up.

    12.Fry till they are golden brown on either side.

    13.Serve hot with chole masala or pannier masala.

notes

1.Let the dough rest longer for more crispy battura. 2.You can also add yeast instead of baking powder. 3.Dissolve yeast in warm water before adding in to maida. 4.The oil should not be too hot.it should be medium hot.
