“Mi mojito en la Bodeguita”

ingredients

  • 2 oz. light rum
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 8 Mint leaves
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • Splash of club soda
  • Mortar and Pestle (Can be purchased at the market or gourmet store)

directions

  • 1

    Place sugar, 5 mint leaves and lime juice in a mortar and crush with the pestle. Put into highball glass. Fill with crushed ice. Add rum then club soda. Stir.

    Garnish with remaining mint leaves
