Flying Saucer cookies

ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups oats
- 2 cups Wheaties cereal
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream shortening and sugars together. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in the dry ingredients until well mixed. Drop by teaspoons onto a cookie sheet and bake 8 - 10 minutes. Cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
