Beat egg yolks very well. Gradually beat in sugar, reserving 1/4 cup to mix with egg whites. Gradually add the liquor, beating well. Fold in the whipped cream. Fold in egg whites, beaten until stiff and mixed with the sugar. Pour into punch bowl and top with nutmeg.
