Buttermilk Waffles
ingredients
- 2 Cups All-purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Cups Low-fat Buttermilk
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 Large Eggs
directions
1. Mix dry ingredients into a small bowl.
2. Whisk eggs, melted butter and buttermilk into a large bowl.
3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until just mixed - some lumps may remain.
4. Spread onto hot waffle iron leaving a 1/2 inch border.
5. Cook waffles until golden brown and cool on a rack or keep warm in the oven until you are ready to serve.
6. ***Freeze great! Heat in toaster.
