Chicken Pot Pie
ingredients
- 2 carrots, chopped and boiled
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 large potato boiled and cubed
- 3 chicken breasts boiled and cubed
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 cup onions, chopped
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 cup butter
- Crust
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup butter or vegetable shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3-4 Tbsp. ice water (use less if you’re using butter)

Sauté onions in butter, add flour when onions are tender, pour broth and milk in quickly and wisk until smooth. Boil for 1 minute. Add rest of ingredients and stir together. Pour into a 9x9 square pan, top with crust and bake at 375 degrees until bubbly and crust is golden.

Mix together and roll out into a 9x9 square.
