Loempias
Egg roll type appetizer.
ingredients
- Wonton Skins
- Onion - chopped
- Garlic - minced
- Vegetable Oil
- Meat (Chicken, pork, shrimp) - cooked and chopped
- Cabbage - cut and slightly cooked
- Bean sprouts (canned or fresh)
- Ketjap (sweet soy sauce) to taste
- Sambal - to taste
- 1 beaten egg

All ingredients to taste.

Cook onions in oil. Add garlic, meat, cabbage and bean sprouts. Let cool.

Heat Fryer to 350.

Put a full tablespoon of mixture in the middle of wonton skin and fold.

Use beaten egg (with a touch of water) to seal, enough to keep oil out. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.

Serve with ketjap and sambal.
notes
It is best not to let the filled wontons sit at room temperature for too long.
