Tomato Basil Squares

- 1 pkg. (10 oz) refrigerated pizza crust
- 2 cups (8 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1 ounce (1/4 cup) fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 TBS fresh basil leaves, snipped or 2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 2/3 cups mayonnaise
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 4 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 375. Roll out pizza crust on a jellyroll pan. Make the crust extend all the way to the edges. Sprinkle crust with 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese; set aside.

In a medium bowl, combine the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, basil, and mayonnaise and mix well. Add the garlic in the mixture. Mix well again.

Arrange the thinly sliced tomatoes over the mozzarella cheese on pizza crust. Be sure it is only a single layer. Place the mozzarella cheese mixture over the tomatoes; spread to cover evenly. Bake 15-20 minutes until tip is golden brown and bubbly.
