Mom's Ginger Crinkles
It just wouldn’t be the holidays without these cookies. Mom called them “Mom’s Ginger Crinkles” so really it’s Grandma Shirley’s recipe.
ingredients
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar plus extra for rolling
- 4 Tablespoons molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger

Preheat oven 350°.

Mix oil and sugar till well combined. Stir in molasses.

Sift in dry ingredients and mix til well combined.

Using a teaspoon, form 1“ balls. Roll dough balls in sugar and place on an ungreased cookie sheet about 1” apart.

Bake for 10 minutes.
