Chocolate Mousse
Light and flurry To die For chocolate mousse. Favorite of the whole family.
ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 4 ounces semi sweet chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup sugar

Melt chocolate on stove or in microwave. Cool slightly. Separate eggs. Beat eggs yolks with vanilla. Add in melted chocolate and stir.

Beat egg whites with cream of tartar and 1/4 cup sugar until still.

In a separate bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff.

Fold chocolate mixture into egg whites. Once blended gently, then fold that mixture into the whipped cream.

Place in dishes and refrigerate 4 hours before serving.

Garnish with whipped cream or strawberries as desired.
