Decker Creek Dog Biscuits

This recipe comes from the Decker Creek Bed & Breakfast in Manor Texas

ingredients

3 C Wheat flour
2 C Old fashioned oats (not instant)
1/4 C Powder milk
1/4 C Wheat bran
1/2 t Garlic powder
1/3 C Peanut Butter (or use Pumpkin)
1 Egg 1 1/4 C Water

directions

Preheat the oven to 275°F. In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients and blend well together. Knead the mixture with your hands until the dough is stiff and not sticky. Roll it out to cookie cutter thickness. Cut into any shapes you like. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for at least 1 1/2 hours and or much as 3 hours. if you want a hard Dog Biscuit.
