Christmas Custard
Creamy custard. Perfect over pound cake. Aunt Bobbie loved this.
ingredients
- 1 quart milk
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 c sugar
- 2 TBSP all purpose flour
- 2 tsp vanilla
directions

Place milk in medium non-aluminum sauce pan.

Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until hot, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat

In a separate bowl mix and whisk the remaining ingredients.

Gradually stir 1 cup hot milk into egg mixture and then add this mixture back into milk, stirring constantly.

Cook mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Do not boil.

Serve custard warm or cool over fruit or pound cake.
