Steven's Hearty Beef Stew

For my “meat and potatoes guy”

ingredients

  • 2 lbs. beef chuck or stew meat cut int i inch cubes
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 lbs beef chuck or stew meat cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. beef broth
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 4 sliced carrotts
  • 3 diced potatoes
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 sliced stalk of celery
  • 2 tsp Kitchen Bouquet (optional)

directions

    Place meat in Crock-Pot. Mix flour, salt and pepper and pour over meat.

    Stir to coat meat with flour.

  • 3

    Add remaining ingred. and stir to mix well.

  • 4

    Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours. (HIGH; 5 to 6 hours )

    Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
