Cornbread-Sausage Dressing
A family favorite at Thanksgiving! Make sure to make extra for “Turkey Hash”!!!
ingredients
- 2 packages of corn muffin mix, not a sweet one. Cook and crumble.
- 1 pound pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 12 slices of white bread, cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3-4 cups celery, chopped
- parsley flakes to taste
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 cups chicken stock

Combine cornbread and veggies. Add sausage, bread crumbs, bread cubes, liquid, and seasonings.

Toss to mix well. Spoon into a 9“x13” casserole dish. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
