Debbie's Apple Tart
ingredients
- Crust
- 1 1/4 C flour
- 1/4 lb chilled unsalted butter cut into chunks
- 2 Tbs sour cream
- Filling
- 3 large Granny Smith apples peeled and sliced
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/3C sour cream
- 3/4C sugar
- 1/4C flour
- 1 tsp vanilla

Process crust ingredients in a food processor fit with a steel blade only until crumbly Do not over process Put crust into a 10 inch tart pan Bake at 375 for 10 minutes Can be done one day in advance

For filling arrange the apples in the crust Mix the rest of the filling ingredients in a food processor until smooth Pour over apples Bake 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes
