Tish's Spud Wraps
Terrific make-ahead side!
ingredients
- 4 small new potatoes(1 to 1 1/2 inch in diameter each)
- 8 slices of bacon, cut in half crosswise
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- Mixture:
- 1/2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned pepper
- 1/4 tsp. crushed bay leaves
- 1 cup Lawry’s steak sauce

1. Wash potatoes and cut into quarters.

2. Combine mixture and marinate potatoes in it for 8 hours.

Later:

1. Preheat oven to 400.
- 5
2. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each marinated potato piece(you can use toothpicks)

3. Sprinkle each potato with brown sugar

4. Place in shallow baking dish, uncovered 20 minutes or until bacon is crispy and potatoes are cooked through.

5. Drain on paper towels and serve.

I will tell you that I have made these and using a toothpick, added quail or duck and it is fantastic.
