Turkey Dressing/Stuffing
Delicious Cornbread for Stuffing
ingredients
- Cornbread
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup homogenized milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- (double recipe for 15 lb. turkey)

Mix cornmeal, baking powder, salt together
- 2
Mix buttermilk, homogenized milk, oil, and eggs together
- 3
Mix dry ingredients and wet ingredients together.

Place in an iron skillet and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown in 350* oven.
Turkey Dressing/ Stuffing

Use a skillet to saute the following:

1 stalk of celery, 1 large onion,giblets, 2 diced chicken fillets with 2 tablespoons oil. Set aside.

In a large bowl assemble the following:

Place the cooked homemade cornbread in the bowl, first.

Next, add the sauteed celery, onion,giblets and chicken to the cornbread.

Then add 1 raw egg and one boiled egg to the mixture.

Next,Add 2 tablespoons Bell All Natural Seasoning, 2 tablespoons Poultry Seasoning, 1 tablespoon lemon pepper Seasoning to the mixture.

Finally add 3 or more cups of the Chicken broth from the cooked turkey to the dressing until moist.

Cook in a pyrex dish until golden brown...1 hour in 350* oven.
Turkey Gravy

Fry 2 seasoned /floured breasts fillets in 3 tablespoon of oil until done.

After browning each on both sides, remove from skillet and dice.

Add 1 1/2 tablespoon flour to the leftover oil in skillet. Stir and brown into a paste.

Then add 1 cup of chicken broth from the cooked turkey-stir until smooth. If need add more broth for a creamy look. Add salt and pepper to taste.
