Georgia's Baked Chicken Parmesan
My healthy and fast spin on an old classic. This is a weekly request in our house!
ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Italian Breadcrumbs
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat oven at 400

In a mixing bowl, beat eggwhites with a forke until slightly frothy. In a separate plate combine all the dry ingredients.

Dip chicken breasts in egg whites and then in breadcrumb mixture, coating both sides.

Lightly coat baking sheet with cooking spray. Place cjecken on sheet and bake on each side 12-15 minutes, depending on how thick the breasts are. Chicken is done when no longer pink, coating is golden brown, and juices are running clear.

Serve hot with parmesan on top, along with your favorite pasta and sauce! Enjoy!

Great to make in bulk and have on hand through out the week.
