Fideo Ro*tel

ingredients

  • 5 oz. package Q&Q Vermicelli (fideo)
  • 10 oz can Ro*tel diced tomato & green chilies
  • 1 tbsp Knorr tomato bouillon w/ chicken flavor (powder)
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

directions

  • 1

    Heat olive oil in heavy skillet. Add uncooked vermicelli (fideo) and saute over medium to medium high heat, stirring constantly, until golden brown.

  • 2

    Add hot water, Ro*tel and then Knorr bouillon. Stir and bring to boil.

  • 3

    Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook for 20 minutes.

  • 4

    Serve

notes

*Suggestion: Serve with bread and a glass of cold milk.
