Spaghetti A La Bobô
Grandpa Bob Nicholls - famous spaghetti
ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb lean hamburger
- 1 1/2 lb bulk mild italian sausage
- 2 @ 28 oz cans S&W crushed ital toms
- 1 @ 29 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 red bell pepper; 1 green bell pepper
- 1 large yellow onion
- 3/4 lb fresh mushrooms
- crushed garlic
- garlic salt
- italian seasoning

Dice bell peppers and onions; slice mushrooms; break up hamburger into large pot; season with garlic salt and italian seasoning. Cook meat over medium heat until browned (do not overcook or drain). Add onions and bell peppers to meat. Add heaping table spoon crushed garlic. reduce heat, cover, allow to simmer until veggies are cooked soft (slower and longer is better 30-45 min). Add sliced mushrooms. Cover and simmer 10 more minutes. Add crushed tomato and tomato sauce. Partially cover and simmer on low - do not boil - about 1 hr. Stir occasionally and taste and add more seasoning and/or garlic to taste.
