Sweet & Sour Meatballs
Kosher for Passover
ingredients
- Meat mixture:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup of matzo meal
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- dash of garlic
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- dash of black pepper
directions
Combine sauce ingredients in a 4 quart pot and bring to a boil. When sauce comes to a boil, begin shaping beef mixture into individual meatballs and drop in sauce one at a time. Let cook approximately 25 minutes.
